In mid-July, devastating floods tore through this region, shifting homes off their foundations with water rising to the ceilings. Weeks later, hundreds of neighbors are still trapped under an overwhelming mountain of mud, ruined drywall, and debris. They are exhausted, out of options, and desperately need the Body of Christ to step in and help them move forward.

On Saturday, August 29, Christ In Action is mobilizing a team of volunteers in Buckhannon, WV, for SERVE DAY. We are a ministry first—disaster relief is how we serve, but the Gospel is why we serve. We are inviting you to join us for a collaborative effort to bring physical relief, support, and the life-changing hope of Jesus straight to these families.

You do not need to be a construction expert to be part of this mission. You just need a willing heart to show up, let your light shine, and serve!

Our experienced leaders will guide you every step of the way. We have vital roles for every skill level to help families in crisis:

• Demo Crews: Cut and tear out ruined drywall, insulation, and flooring.
• Under-Home Teams: Pull damaged ductwork from crawl spaces.
• Debris Clearers: Help families haul heavy storm wreckage out of their houses.
• Encouragement & Chaplaincy Teams: Sit with, offer crisis care, and pray with weary homeowners who have been through so much.

Your time and energy will directly change lives and ease a hard situation through simple, steady kindness. Gather your friends, family, church small group, or pastors and join us!

• Cost: 100% Free.
• Food: Free hot breakfast and lunch are provided by our mobile kitchen.
• Time: Pitch in for a few hours or stay for the whole day.

Registration is required so we can prep meals and tools for the teams.
