Volunteer Work Day - Fire Cleanup
Bealeton, VA
December 19, 2025
Join us for an opportunity to help a homeowner in Bealeton, VA, clean out damage to her home from a recent fire. The project and space is very small, so registration is limited to the first few people that sign up to help. Once registration is filled, you can still be added to the wait list in case we have cancellations. Please note that the work may only last through lunchtime. Please make certain you can agree to each of the following before you register:
- Volunteers must be 18 and older due to safety hazards.
- Please arrive at 9AM to the address we will provide you (via email) once you register.
- Upon arrival, you'll need to sign a volunteer/photo waiver and provide an emergency contact.
- All volunteers MUST wear long, sturdy pants and work boots. Dressing in layers is recommended. Note the possibility of rain in the forecast.
- Christ In Action will provide a free red CIA t-shirt for volunteering! Please note your size when you register and consider wearing it as your outer layer. We may have a few hoodies available for purchase onsite.
- All tools will be provided. Please bring work gloves, safety glasses and ear protection if you have them. Masks or respirators are recommended, but we will have some masks on hand.
- We will work rain or shine, unless safety becomes a concern.
- Lunch will be provided at our Headquarters in Elkwood, less than 15 minutes away from the work site.
All volunteers must register below to let us know you commit to come and serve, as space is very limited. We will email you the address to the work site once we receive your registration. Thank you for being willing to come serve with us and bring hope!
