In the last few days storms have pummeled the eastern seaboard, including Virginia, with heavy rains, flash floods, and tornadoes. Today we received a request from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management concerning a need for assistance in Essex County. We sent a team immediately to assess the situation and have deployed some of our heavy equipment, along with our core team members, to assist these communities. Due to the nature of this deployment, volunteers will need to be able to commute back and forth daily, or bring their own RV (we cannot provide power, water, or sewer hook ups). Meals will not be provided, so please plan to pack a lunch or cook in your RV. We are accepting volunteers through March 5.

We need financial support for our deployment here. This is closer to home, but there will be a lot of miles (and diesel) for our vehicles and core team between northern and central VA. Please consider making a financial donation to help us bring Hope to families here in Central Virginia.

If you, or someone you know, needs help in Essex County please have them fill out this form or email us for assistance.
